So I have to admit, this look was slightly inspired by Khloe Kardashian's Cosmo UK cover- simply because I love a good nude/bronzy makeup look! To me, this look not only embodies sexiness and confidence, but is perfect for so many different occasions. Whether it be a girls night out, hot date, or the everyday glam girl, this is a look you will definitely own!
This makeup really plays up all your features by using tones and colors alike. Voluminous, wispy lashes draw an emphasis toward the eyes, while the variations of shadows help to shape. Concentrating the darker colors toward the outer crease lifts the eye; with the lighter-shimmery colors on the inner corners and lid gives the appearance of a more almond shape.
--Which they say is the most intriguing.--
Another favorite element this look embodies is a fierce glow. I adore how Khloe's complexion, although very contoured and highlighted, was very luminous. While I added a bit more blush for added definition to the cheeks, I ultimately applied highlight to all the high points of my face- not just the cheekbones.
Tie everything together with a gorgeous nude lip. I used a variety of different products in different colors to literally shape the lip, giving a more pouty appearance. By keeping the outline of the lips darker, gradually fading into lighter colors towards the center you not only create an ombre effect, but fuller looking lips. The great thing about this trick, it works with or without overdrawing your lip line!
Tousle your hair, and werk that sultry nude-itude!
