Shoutout to Instagram and a good friend for bringing Christiana and I together early last Thursday morning!
Christiana Yebra is one of the founding members of the Dallas Millennial Club. This members only service organization wants more "millennials" to adopt the concept that "the more people one serves, the more successful one becomes." From galas, charity events, mixers and more, DMC is paving the way for this generation!
6AM Thursday morning was call time because Christiana and the rest of the DMC founders were going to be guests on Good Morning Texas!
We wanted to keep her glam fresh and very daytime tv appropriate.
On her eyes, I used one of my favorite affordable palettes, Chic-y from the iluvsarahii and Colourpop collaboration. This palette is perfect for it contains all the colors needed to create various different eye looks. I used the darker shade from this palette, in conjunction with other shadows to warm up and define Christiana's eyes and lash line. Applying the metallic shade dry versus wet, gives the lid a wash of sparkle rather than a pigmented look.
To play off the tones of the shadows, as well as compliment the accent colors in her dress, I opted to use mauve shades on the rest of Christiana's complexion. A cream contour gives the face a natural sculpted look, while the blush brings warmth and life back to the face.
I also love the natural fullness of her brows and lashes! I opted to apply lashes to just the outer corners of the eyes to elongate, and added definition without overdrawing to her gorgeous brows!
Tying the whole look together with a rose based lippie!
