New year, new color.
If we're being honest with each other, this shadow has been in my collection for quite some time and I've always dreamed about the day I would sit down to use it. That day finally happened this weekend.
Hot Makeup is easily becoming a favorite brand in my arsenal, and this buttery pressed pigment may have upped their rank!
"Jump Around" is a gooorgeouusss shamrock green with gold reflects. I chose to let this shadow be the focus of this look, by pairing it with only a gold based transition color.
Applying this pigment first to the lid dry allows you to map out exact placement and acts as a base. I then packed it on top with a wet brush to really allow the metallic reflects to show through!
Keeping the face and lips neutral allows the eyes to be the focus without competing with the rest of your features.
I've been super inspired by color lately, so expect even more non neutral looks!
