Beauty-ful in Vegas, with Vegas.com

From the lights to the shows, Vegas is a place where everything sparkles. When I heard about Vegas.com and how they were interested in showcasing how you could transition your makeup from day to night while staying Vegas ready, I of course jumped at the opportunity!

To me, Vegas is all about the glitz and the glam, and for this look I chose to be inspired by the  Cosmopolitan hotel.

Located in the heart of the strip, the Cosmopolitan has specialized boutiques, spa, and a casino, to fulfill your every desire; day or night!

I wanted to bring an element of my own style, but also incorporate the captivating and flirtatious allure this hotel embodies!

For my daytime glam, I chose to go with something simple that I know always looks good! Think of this look as your transition. A neutral shade in the crease and lower lash-line adds subtle definition that will help to blend out darker shadows later at night. While a natural highlight and bronzed skin gives you an awake and ready to conquer the day parties feel!

Because Vegas is the city that never sleeps, you don't want to have to worry about spending too much time taking your makeup from day to night. Finish off this day look with a pretty, matte pink lip. Matte lips are great because they don't require touch-ups even through eating, drinking, and laughing!

To take my makeup from day to night, I decided to do something smokey, sexy, and shimmery- everything you think of when you think Vegas and the Cosmopolitan!
By having a base already applied, it's easy to build up your eyes to the desired smokiness.
Start by adding a darker shadow into your crease/ transition area, and continue to blend and build until desired intensity. Top off the eyes with something flashy and fun. I opted for Colourpop's supershock shadow in Lovely. For a dark look like this, I like to apply a cream base before packing on shadow. Not only does this deepen the color, but makes the multi-dimensional glitter pop even more!

Complete your nighttime look by amping up your contour with a luminizing bronzer, and swap the matte lip for a nude gloss to compliment the eyes. Of course you wouldn't be Vegas ready without an extra pop of highlight. Because why not shine brighter than the casino lights?!

I wanted to include an outfit that also plays off the seductiveness of Vegas and the Cosmopolitan. Mixing girly with grunge, this romper is also great for daytime. Ditch the heels, throw on your favorite sneaks and you're ready to explore the strip!

Three major keys when it comes to Vegas glam 🔑;
1. Hydrating Under-eye Primer: because drinking and no sleep can really take a toll on this area
2. Setting Spray: so you can enjoy all the fun without sweating your makeup off
3. Brow Gel: like hairspray for brows, because fly aways on your face are not cute either
